CONTROLLER REPAIR
There are two basic types of controllers, Electro-mechanical, and electronic.
Electronic- 1) check fuse, if fuse is blown, replace. If fuse blows again there may be a problem
In the field wiring. Go here ,the microprocessor may be damaged, unplug controller, remove battery,
wait 5 minutes, replace battery, plug in controller. This will solve a malfunction some of the time. If
not the controller will have to be serviced by a skilled technician or replaced.
Electro-mechanical- check fuse, check for signs of gear wear, cracked gears, or the timing or
Advance motors may have burned out. This type of controller should be serviced by a skilled technician,
